History and Features of Arario Gallery Seoul
Arario Gallery Seoul opened in 2006 in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, and has led Korea’s contemporary art scene with its strong artist system and bold curation. It relocated near the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 2014 and operated an additional space at RYSE Hotel near Hongik University from 2018 to 2019, promoting young and experimental art. In February 2023, it reopened in Wonso-dong, Jongno-gu, aiming to discover and support artists and contribute to Korean art through experimental exhibitions.
